My Story

I began my journey to qualify as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist back in 2014. This followed a successful career in the legal profession.

So why did I make such a dramatic change? Let me tell you my story…

"I was in terrible pain and mental anguish"

At the start of 2014, I began to feel excruciating pain in my back. Having experienced significant back problems from the age of 17, I thought this would pass after a few weeks with the help of an osteopath and physiotherapy. This time it was different. The pain continued month after month, and it was so severe I could barely move from my bed.

This came at the worst time for me professionally. I was wanting to move from my home in Herefordshire to Cornwall, to take up an exciting legal opportunity.

My mood plummeted and I was in real despair. I didn’t know what to do or who to turn to. I decided to go and see a hypnotherapist. That started a process which changed my mindset, my career path and is the reason I am a hypnotherapist today.

My Commitment to You

Hypnotherapy was a game changer for me, at a time when I was chronic pain and feeling mentally at my lowest ebb. I truly believe that no other form of talking therapy could have achieved the same.

Now as a professional and highly experienced hypnotherapist in my own right, I want to pass on all the benefits of this unique therapy to you.

Whatever difficulties you are experiencing with your mental health, take that first brave step and get in contact. Together, we will work towards a future where you feel good in yourself and about yourself. A future where you are calmer, happier and more confident, and where you truly feel you are getting the most out of life.

The hypnotherapy process: Get in touch, first meeting, regular sessions

Getting in Touch

Call me directly or use a contact form to book an initial chat, where we can confirm whether hypnotherapy is right for you, and I can answer any preliminary questions. We can then book a first consultation.

First Meeting

I will be asking a lot of questions about you and the background relevant to your concerns. Everything discussed is confidential. We agree how future sessions will be structured.

Regular Sessions

In each session we will combine talking therapy with hypnosis to work on the specific issues that you seek to overcome. I use a variety of relaxation and visualisation techniques to achieve the changes you want. The process is complete when those positive changes are achieved. You leave the process feeling happier, calmer and in control.
